By accessing or using Buffr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Buffr is a software-as-a-service platform designed for auto detailing businesses. Our service includes:

  • Business management dashboard
  • Online booking system
  • Customer relationship management
  • Payment processing (via Stripe)
  • Social media management and scheduling
  • Marketing and communication tools
  • Analytics and reporting

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activities under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

4. Subscription and Payments

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing:

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

5. Social Media Integration

Our Service allows you to connect third-party social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Business) to schedule and publish content. By using this feature:

  • You represent that you have the authority to connect these accounts
  • You are responsible for all content you create and publish through our platform
  • You agree to comply with each platform's terms of service
  • We are not responsible for content posted through your connected accounts
  • You may disconnect your social media accounts at any time

6. SMS Communications

Program Name: Buffr Appointment Reminders

Program Description: Our Service includes SMS messaging capabilities for appointment reminders and notifications. When customers book an appointment through a Buffr-powered booking page and opt-in to SMS communications, they will receive text messages related to their appointment.

Message Frequency: Customers typically receive 2-5 messages per appointment, including:

  • Booking confirmation (1 message)
  • Appointment reminder (1-2 messages, typically 24 hours and/or 1 hour before)
  • Service status updates (1-2 messages, when technician is en route or service is complete)
  • Follow-up message (1 message, optional, after service completion)

Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.

Opt-Out Instructions: You can cancel SMS messages at any time. Text STOP to any message to unsubscribe. After texting STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

No Third-Party Sharing: Phone numbers and SMS consent information collected through our platform are NOT shared with or sold to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Publish spam, misleading content, or content you don't have rights to

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users) remain the property of Buffr. Our trademarks may not be used without prior written consent.

You retain ownership of content you create and upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, store, and display that content as necessary to provide the Service.

9. Payment Processing

Payment processing services for businesses using Buffr are provided by Stripe and subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. By using payment features, you agree to be bound by Stripe's terms of service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buffr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
