- Facebook/Instagram: We access your profile information, Pages you manage, and the ability to post content on your behalf when you schedule posts through our platform.
- TikTok: We access your TikTok account to publish videos you explicitly create and schedule through Buffr. We only use the permissions necessary for video publishing (user.info.basic, video.publish, video.upload). We do not access private messages or personal content.
- Google Business: We access your business profile to post updates you schedule.
We only post content that you explicitly create and schedule. We never post without your action, and we never access your personal messages or private content.
4. SMS/Text Messaging
Our platform enables businesses to send SMS appointment reminders and notifications to their customers. Here's how SMS communications work:
Consent Collection:
- Customers must provide explicit opt-in consent before receiving SMS messages
- Consent is collected via a required checkbox during the online booking process
- The checkbox is unchecked by default and must be actively selected
- Bookings cannot be completed without providing SMS consent

Opting Out:
- Recipients can opt-out at any time by replying STOP to any message
